There are times when I find it difficult to put a complete, full-bodied blog post together even though I’ve got something to say. Well, from today, I’m going to give micro-blogging a try with my new Twitter account.

Just to let you know that twitter is 140 characters and not 160 (I wish it was 160 though!).

Eh? Have I said it was 160 somewhere? I probably got confused with the profile bit which is 160.

Ohh, the bio bit is 160 characters..I thought you meant about writing tweets, they’re 140 characters.

I may well have said the tweets were 160 somewhere although I dread to think of the extra strain those 20 characters multiplied by lord knows how many would have on their site.

On April Fool’s day, I think they should drop the limit to a single word no longer than 10 characters, just for a larf!
