Liverpool Pier Head Ferry Terminal

DSC_3920_1_2_3_4.jpg
The new ferry terminal building at the Pier Head recently came up in discussion and it was referred to, yet again, as a carbuncle.  I still like the quirky design, but agree that it doesn’t quite sit right alongside (or in front of, depending on your point of view) the likes of the Three Graces.  However, it does seem to sit better with the other new buildings under construction around it.  So, why single the ferry terminal out?

This photo, by the way, is one of my first edits using Lightroom 3 beta 2.  There was some Photoshop involved too, but a fine performance from the beta app.  A little slow to export, perhaps, but an otherwise much improved performance over Lightroom 2.

Nicely done Will. An absolutely cracking shot. Don’t know why, but for some reason I keep having problems with the LR3 beta, so just sticking with LR2 for now. I do hear good things about it from other people though.

Cheers, Ade. What issues have you had with LR3b2?
